About Company

The company "ZAKREM" was founded in 1952 by, no longer existing , the Province Association of Rural Co-operatives "Samopomoc Chlopska". Since its beginning the company has specialised at metal trade. Apart from production, it used to provide services for other enterprises including comprehensive maintenance of production lines for foodindustry, butcher's business, bakeries, refrigerators as well as for people. As regards its production line, the company was a manufacturer of products for (very important on those days) mining industry and the army. But the most important part of the company's activity, both for the Research Department and the staff, was manufacture of transport devices. We became experienced in this field as early as in the 50s. As the years went by our products were changing their technological, structural and visual features.

In 1990, in the year of quick political and economic changes, the staff of the company founded an independent co-operative and took over the former enterprise. Stimulated by new economic reality as well as by requirements of free-market economy and export, we increased our efforts to develop the company. More and more new products are introduced. Our strenuous work together with long-term experience in the field of internal transport resulted in new beauty and quality of our products. A proof of our achievements is an EU safety certificate for our hydraulic lift trucks. All in all, we were able to send our trucks abroad. They are available, among others, in: Germany, Denmark, the Netherlands, Great Britain, Austria, Russia, Lithuania and in Honk Kong.

At present the company employs 139 people. We have our own Research and Development Department, automated production lines as well as trade and service branches.
